Boys out on a summer walk on a dry day with rainboots, one is missing pants and they’ve stopped to check out a snail. Classic.

Premiere
Friday, August 28th, 2015
We attended the premiere of this film in San Francisco because a friend of ours was one of the executive producers. Of course I forgot to take photos, so I documented the event with our tickets and a photo from online. It works!

Monday, July 13th, 2015Please stop by and see all of the amazing projects in July’s CREATE Magazine HERE!
We got a summer themed color challenge for the July CREATE magazine. Red, 3 shades of blue, tan, and white. I don’t usually get very many photos for the fourth of July but the red made me think of berries! These are pictures of us picking strawberries in our front yard. What a treat!

For the May issue of CREATE magazine we were asked to show off Paper House and their fun themed papers and embellishments. I got the Family Vacation set:
I picked out a silly photo of our son hitching a ride through the airport on our extra tall rolling suitcase.

Our Hidden Tree Fort
Thursday, May 21st, 2015
This layout was so hard for me! I was challenged by the March issue of CREATE to used chipboard. I’m not a chipboard user. 😉 But I took my assignment VERY SERIOUSLY and thought long and hard about to do something a little different. I decided to recreate the railing to our tree fort with chipboard to emphasize the photos. I actually used a needle and stitched rafia through the chipboard for dimension. Read more about it in the magazine!

Moths of Maine
Saturday, May 9th, 2015
I used October 2014’s CREATE magazine sketch to crack out my 6×6 paper pads. I paired those papers with these “cute” photos of the different moths we encountered in Maine last summer while camping and exploring.
