More First Birthday Layouts

Monday, March 26th, 2012

I know this seems like a lot of birthday layouts but I needed 3.  One for each of the two parties he had to go in my chronological album.  And one layout covering both parties to go in Tobin’s first year album.

Products used:  Papers and stickers: TPC Studios;  Letter stickers:  Making Memories, Creative Memories;  Tools: Cricut Robotz and Mini Monograms cartridges;  Sketches:  Sketches for Scrapbooking

On Cloud Nine

Monday, October 17th, 2011

Here are photos from my cousin Aleshia’s baby shower this spring in Sacramento.  Her sister hosted us in their new house.  There are no big bump photos since the shower was hosted a little early.  Aleshia and her husband live in Japan and would only be visiting us in the states one time before little Lilah is born!

Products used:  Papers: Creative Memories (background), Bo Bunny (pink dots), My Mind’s Eye (clouds);  Embellishments: Making Memories (journaling blocks),  Heidi Grace (rubons);  Tools:  Cricut Lyrical Letters cartridge (baby shower and stork), Ashlyn’s Alphabet (title);  Sketch: Sketch Support

This layout was designed using a sketch from Sketch Support.  Go on over there to see more projects made from the same sketch and stay for the new sketches posted weekly!

Berkeley Botanical Gardens

I LOVE going to gardens and taking pictures of flowers. This is by far the biggest reason hubby and I bought a DSLR camera. Anyway, these pictures are from the Berkeley Botanical Gardens.
Details: Patterned papers are from the SEI Oasis stack. Orange floral rubon is by Colorbok. Brown glittery branch rubon is by Colorbok My Wild Life. Blue/white grid journaling block is by K&Company. Title is heat embossed.

Georgetown Silver Mines

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

This is a “3” page layout of our ride on the Georgetown Historic Loop Railroad and tour into the Silver Mines in Colorado. I used a 6×12 page protector to create the “third” page – with extra photos/momentos from the trip. I’ve added pictures of the layout in the album so you can see how the 6×12 page lays.

Details: Papers, journaling blocks, and film strip overlays are all by Little Yellow Bicycle. “Georgetown” and “Silver Mines” were cut using the Lyrical Letters Cricut cartridge (Jack Sprat feature).

Redwoods

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Pictures from a hike out near Santa Cruz. The redwoods were beautiful and I loved that the forest floor was covered in clovers.

Inspiration for this layout design: Paperclipping
Details: Striped and tree patterned papers are from the DCWV Green paper stack. Blue woodgrain paper is from Making Memories travel 8×8 paper pad. Green plaid paper is by Anna Griffin (I sanded it to tone it down). Clover was cut using the Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. “Redwoods” was cut using Lyrical Letters (Loop De Loo feature).
